Onboard Classes
Midway's School Programs are hosted onboard in state-of-the-art education facilities. We offer a wide range of dynamic learning adventures for school groups. Adventurous learning awaits!
All onboard School Programs include:
- Two (2) action packed hours of learning
- Education-discounted admission to the USS Midway Museum
- Pre-visit information with a glossary designed to support the program topic
- An introduction and orientation to the Midway by trained education staff
- Experience selected exhibits and locations chosen to highlight your onboard School Program subject matter
- Interactive and/or hands-on activities
- Lots of active fun mixed with a good dose of learning
You must have a minimum number of 12 students to request an onboard class.

Grade 4: Electricity & Magnetism
Grade 4-5: Math on the Midway
Grade 5: Weather
Grade 6-8: Thermal Energy
Grade 7-8: Damage Control / Shipboard Engineering
