Annually, the Midway American Patriot Award honors those whose lifetime of accomplishments epitomize the true meaning of patriotism, personal sacrifice, and selfless service to the country. In 2024, we celebrated the 20th anniversary of the Midway Museum’s momentous arrival in San Diego as we honored former USS Midway Museum CEO RADM Mac McLaughlin, USN (Ret.).

Gala proceeds benefit our exceptional elementary through post-graduate programs, including our “No Child Left Ashore” scholarship fund, Leadership Academy focusing on future generations’ character development skills; Midway Institute for Teachers professional development seminars; STEM curricula; and overnight youth learning opportunities for students aboard Midway.
