Event Setup Rep (On Call)

This position provides the general labor necessary for the set up and tear down and equipment for special events.

Department: Events
Reports to: Event Operations Manager
Status: On call
Pay rate: $19.00 hour
Schedule: AM/PM shifts. Must be able to work weekends/holidays.
Summary of Responsibilities
- Clean, dust, and wipe rental equipment furniture
- Load/unload event gear and equipment with lift equipment
- Physically set up and tear down event equipment, i.e., tables, chairs, stanchions, flooring, umbrellas, etc.
- Assemble furniture and space accessories, i.e. shelving, cabinets, etc.

Education / Experience
- Prior related experience preferred.
Skills / Abilities
- Reliable and dependable: ability to report to work on time as scheduled.
- Demonstrate excellent guest service skills.
- A team player. Must work well with others.
Working Conditions
- Job Conditions/Work Location: Work is performed on board an aircraft carrier.
- Physical Requirements: Constant climbing up/down stairs and ladders; bend, stoop, and lift to move and retrieve materials; pull/push, lift, and carry up to 50 pounds; reach above and below shoulder height.
- Equipment Operated: Aircraft elevator, forklift, man lift, aircraft tow truck, buffer/scrubber, pallet jack, small power tools, and janitorial equipment.
